Kevin's song "Road Rage" has been chosen one of five finalists for this years Boston Folk Festival's New Songwriters contest to be held at the festival on Sept. 17,18,19 on the campus of UMass, Boston. Kevin will travel to Boston with fellow Island musician Mike Benjamin, who produced Kevin's latest c.d., "the off-season", and will back Kevin up on guitar for the Friday night performance. The judges will be Tom Paxton, Jack Hardy, and Rod MacDonald. The winner will repeat the performance on Saturday. For more info go to The Boston Folk Festival.org.
